Shelly Black is leading a Fire Safe Community, and within that Community she will be assisting homeowners in creating and being a part of a FireWiseUSA Neighborhood, which aims to develop a coordinated and cohesive community that is united and prepared for disasters. Being Certified in the FirewiseUSA program will likely mean the difference of whether your property is insurable – OR NOT.

Being a part of our Fire Safe Community means that we will assist you and your neighbors in the following:

- Education on the Necessary Fire Mitigation Practices and Actionable Requirements for Individuals and the Overall Neighborhood
- Preparing and filing the documention to be Certified in the National Database as a **FirewiseUSA neighborhood (FirewiseUSA is a Three Year Community Action Plan)

** Important - the FirewiseUSA Program is a volunteer program that is free and available to all California Residents. There is no fee to participate in, or create, a FirewiseUSA Neighborhood. This Annual Membeship fee is to participate in Shelly Blacks' Fire Safe Community, which within that Community, members are taken through the process to become Nationally Certified in the FirewiseUSA Program.
